You can also watch via Bitcoin Magazine’s Rumble channel and the Bitcoin Magazine X handle.
Also, I’ll be speaking with British MP and UK Prime Minister hopeful Nigel Farage on Thursday, May 29 from 2:00 PM PDT to 2:30 PM PDT (5:00 PM EST to 5:30 PM EST). This talk will be part of the livestream.
New York City’s First Crypto Summit
On Tuesday, New York City hosted its first ever crypto summit at Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s residence.
I covered the event for Bitcoin Magazine:
Bitcoin was hardly mentioned at the event (the attendees were more about “crypto”), so I took it upon myself to share how the city can use the Bitcoin blockchain to secure public documents, including voting records.

My Interview With Adam Back
I recently sat down with Adam Back, the legendary cryptographer and cypherpunk who is cited in the Bitcoin whitepaper for his proof-of-work hashing system, to discuss with him the current Bitcoin filter drama as well as corporate and nation-state Bitcoin adoption.
I appreciated how humble, thoughtful and soft spoken Back was. He’s an absolute genius, but he keeps his ego at bay. I have nothing but respect for people like this.
Bitcoin Enthusiasts Should Be Concerned About The GENIUS Act
Speaking of genius’, U.S. Senators are currently making amendments to The GENIUS Act, a bill to regulate stablecoins.
While the bill doesn’t directly affect Bitcoin, it will have some effect on whether or not users can transact with digital assets privately.
For this reason, we should be paying attention to it.
More in my piece on the matter:
Markets
Bitcoin reached new all-time highs this week, as I mentioned I thought it would in the previous edition of the newsletter, and it’s since pulled back at bit.
It looks like we may go higher from here, but I also wouldn’t be surprised to see a deeper pullback (maybe to $92k) from here, as the RSI is still quite high.
Not a great time for making big buys IMO, but that’s just me thinking out loud, because nothing in this newsletter is financial advice.
Thank you all for reading, and I hope those of you who are reading this in the U.S. are having/had a lovely Memorial Day!
Big hugs and big love.
Best,
Frank
