My long-time friend Vinny Panza is one of the most talented people I know — a true Renaissance Man.
To name of a few of his talents and accomplishments, he’s a third-degree blackbelt, a scholar, and an immensely-talented musician/songwriter.
This Christmas, he gave the world the gift of the song below.
Really good, right? (Listen to it. Do it.)
Vinny sings so well because he carries a lot of weight for a lot of people, and I think singing is one of the ways in which he lightens that load.
He’s a soulful brother. (Not only did I sounds like a white person as I said that last sentence in my head as I typed it, but I think it even reads like Captain McWhite-y Pants wrote it. I mean, I spelled brother with a “er” instead of an “a”. Silliness.)
So, he’s currently trying to get the song on the radio — WBLS, I think — so I wanted to leverage the reach of this newsletter to help him out.
Please give the song a spin all the way, through. Let’s pump up those views so when WBLS checks out the plays, they can see that lots of people are already listening.
And if you’re really into the tune, please consider sharing it with a friend.
Let’s help Vinny to get this song on the radio and into the ears of more people — to create a little Christmas miracle.
Also, the lovely lady whose face is next to his at the end of the video (watch it all the way through) is Emi, Vinny’s wife.
She just took a leap of faith and started her own business — Riverside Wrapping Co.
She’s makes these incredible handmade earrings. See below.
Now, I know that I’m a mameluke and that I should have shared a link to her online shop during the weeks before Christmas/the holiday — not the day of — but whatevs.
Here’s a link to her shop: Riverside Wrapping Co. Shop
Maybe you still need to get a present for someone you’ll see next week or maybe someone’s birthday is coming up and they’d like a pair of the earrings.
I don’t know. I’m just the guy who is emailing you about this too late.
Anyway, I’m calling it now that Emi will one day be an incredibly successful entrepreneur, and I’m proud to say I’ve already been one of her employees :) (That was me selling earrings in Hudson Yards, NYC two weekends ago, yes!)
So, yeah please give that song a spin and if you can’t purchase those earrings, be sure to send Emi some love and well wishes as she gets her business off the ground.
And if you’re alone or feel alone on Christmas, know that I — and everyone else — is right here with you, as our form is just an illusion and our beings are all connected.
Big love, everyone — and Merry Christmas!
Best,
Frank
Never too late. Thank you for the love. Merry Christmas 🎅🎄
