Two weeks ago, CoinTelegraph published an article on the women who “kicked ass in crypto” in 2024.
It was a pretty good list, but it didn’t take into account the work that a lot of women in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and The Middle East are doing.
So, I wrote a piece highlighting the work that women from those regions do.
Bitcoin Adoption In Suriname
This week, I also wrote a piece for Forbes on what Bitcoin adoption in Suriname looks like.
My motivation for writing this piece included showcasing the work of less celebrated Bitcoin advocates and educators in Suriname, as any mention on Bitcoin adoption in the country is often solely focused on the country’s pro-Bitcoin presidential candidate, Maya Parbhoe.

Bitcoin looks as if it’s started a new consolidation phase before it pumps higher.
I don’t think this consolidation phase will last even half as long as the previous one, which went from about March to November 2024.
Not a great time to make any large BTC purchases in my opinion, as it’s already done about a 7x from its low of $15,500 just two years ago.
That said, I do think we rip higher before this cycle ends.
