I read the Tweet thread below yesterday, and it blew my mind. It made me so happy to live in this age in which we do, an age in which brilliant ideas like this can be shared so quickly and with so little friction. The type of thinking Dr. Natasha Che, often simply just called “Tascha” (as per her website), shares here is the type of thinking I would LOVE to see from our leaders; it’s visionary, well thought out, and incredibly dynamic. I’m not even sure that I agree with every facet of the thread, nor am I a fan of giving the Fed any more power than it already has, but, as I said, the author’s thoughts are an example of the type of innovative thinking we should expect from the federal powers that be in the U.S., yet never seem to get from them. Tascha’s ideas embrace progress and they recognize the power of Metcalfe’s Law in this exponential age, while most U.S. political leaders continue to attempt to exercise their increasingly diminishing control over something they hardly seem to understand at all.
Feel free to check out the thread for yourself and to make up your own mind, though… (I don’t think the entire thing will fit into the email format of the newsletter, so you might have to go to my Substack site to read the whole thing.) Without further ado, Dr. Natasha Che…
