One of the many interesting things I learned while teaching immigrants in New York City for the better part of a decade was that many of them didn’t want to leave their home homeland.
In other words, it’s not like they dreamed of coming to New York City; instead, they had to emigrate due to lack of opportunity, issues related to personal safety or other reasons linked to distress.
So, when I interview people who live happily in countries that many flee, I pay particularly close attention to what they say to see what’s working for them and if the way they’re living can be replicated for others in their country.
This week, I interviewed one such person.
Her name is Zussel Agibail Ramos. She’s a resident of Próspera, a start-up city located in a special economic zone (SEZ) in Honduras.
Start-up city?
Special economic zone?
I’ve only recently begun to learn about these terms, as well.
Check out the interview to learn more.
And please subscribe, like and leave a review on your platform of choice. I’d sincerely appreciate it.

Will the Bitcoin Bull Market Continue?
Bitcoin (BTC) is up about 120% since last February and the Bitcoin halving is only two months out.

I explore this question in my latest piece for Nasdaq on behalf of Finder.
