The market has been ripping, and investors’ spirits are high once again.
Oh happy day!
Most people are probably just buying back into Bitcoin/crypto and traditional markets now that optimism has returned, but my thesis still remains that we’ll see a major downturn in markets within the next few months.
Am I an oracle? Will this surely happen? Of course not.
It’s simply my thesis.
I think we’re living through an era in which bubbles keep growing and then bursting/deflating, all driven by poor monetary and fiscal policy. My investment strategy is to continue to take cash out of markets as bubbles grow and to put it back into markets as bubbles burst/deflate. (My approach to bitcoin is a bit different; I mostly just hold it and buy at opportune moments.)
You can tell a bubble is inflating when investing begins to feel like a party again. What I’ve learned from proactively investing these past six years is that there’s a lot of value in learning to leave the party early.
So, let me share with you how I’m slowly making my Irish exit.
