I wanted to take a moment to say “Happy Thanksgiving” to all who celebrate.
I’m grateful to all of you who read this newsletter, and I appreciate your attention and support!
A Gratitude Catalyst — The Words of Valentin Popescu
If you’d like to trigger some feelings of gratitude heading into tomorrow, I highly recommend listening to what Valentin Popescu, co-founder of the NGO Motiv Perú, has to share in this interview I recently conducted with him.
Valentin works with orphans, widows and the financially disenfranchised in Perú, a country in which 75% of the population is unbanked. I shared how his presentation at Adopting Bitcoin two weeks ago moved me to tears in this edition of the newsletter.
While we do touch on Bitcoin at points in the interview, what Valentin shares in it is much deeper than the power of magic internet money.
He discusses how important it is to serve others, be grateful and have good values.
When he talks about the ways in which he serves others, it’s difficult not to get emotional. He has a very big heart, and you can feel it not just because of what he says but how he says it.
He’s in touch with something very special — perhaps otherworldly.
I hope you enjoy the interview.
More than that, though, whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, I hope you take a moment after reading this to be grateful for all that you do have in your life as opposed to what you feel might be missing.
And again, I’m grateful for all of you.
I’ll be in touch this weekend.
Best,
Frank
