I was all about getting you to read the piece I wrote for Finder Canada about dollar-cost averaging, and a lovely reader of the newsletter brought to my attention that I didn’t link to the correct piece :/
My apologies.
Here is the proper link to the piece: “5 tips to maximize your crypto dollar-cost averaging (DCA) strategy”
In case you were thinking that maybe the correction here was in regard to the amount of children my cousin has, you’re wrong. My cousin totally has 650 kids. She’s so busy. No time for magic internet money.
And there are a few other things that I forgot to mention in the last edition of the newsletter…
Netflix Madoff Documentary
I just finished the Madoff documentary that recently came out on Netflix. Gut-wrenching stuff, but I highly recommend it.
It was an eye-opening reminder of why I dislike Wall Street, big banks and regulatory agencies so much.
To call the financial and regulatory system in the US an abject failure would be an understatement.
I’m very thankful we now have Bitcoin as an opt out option.
Caitlin Long for the Win — Yet Again
Caitlin Long — CEO of Custodia Bank and all-around badass — wrote a great piece for Forbes this week.
Here’s the link: “Banks Are About To Face The Same Tsunami That Hit Telecom Twenty Years Ago”
TD;DR - At best big banks will exist to serve networks like Bitcoin and maybe Ethereum, if they don’t render themselves completely obsolete.
Listen to Immortal Technique
Here’s a new track from Immortal Technique. He’s joined by Killer Mike, Brother Ali and Chuck D.
Love Technique.
Take it easy, everybody.
